Referrals Services
SDAS offers a dedicated referral service for professionals across the network area. This service is aimed at professionals who may be supporting survivors of domestic abuse or, for example, have attended/or are aware of a recent incident.
We work with a wide range of multi-agency partners across the public, private, voluntary, community, and faith sectors.
SDAS offers the following services to professionals:
- Receipt of Police referrals
- Agency referrals as described above (including children)
- Information and advice
- Education and training
- Advice and guidance on Refuge support/placement
- Partnership development work
All agency referrals will be received via email with a fully completed referral form attached:
Police Referrals – cjsm@swaca.com
Other agencies – assessment@swaca.com
The email ‘inboxes’ are monitored from 8.00am to 6.00pm Monday – Friday by the helpline and are actioned within 72 hours of receipt.
When a referral is received, the helpline team will review the referral, ensure that there is sufficient information contained to progress, and, if not, will contact the source of the referral to request additional information.
