MEN’S REFLECTION PROGRAMME
The Rock Pool Domestic Abuse Recovery Toolkit is the UK’s Leading trauma-informed recovery Programme for adults who have experienced or witnessed domestic abuse but are no longer in that abusive relationship. This programme aims to provide the knowledge required to aid recovery from the effects of living with domestic abuse and is delivered face-to-face.
- Session 1 – What is domestic abuse.
- Session 2– Different types of abuse and impacts.
- Session 3 – Effects of domestic abuse on children / parenting.
- Session 4 – ACE's
- Session 5 – Healthy relationships.
- Session 6 – Self-esteem / confidence and actions for the future
COUNSELLING AND PSYCHOLOGICAL SUPPORT
The provides the opportunity for service users to process their trauma, rebuild self-esteem, and address mental health concerns like anxiety, depression, or PTSD.
Interventions:
- Social and Therapeutic support referrals.
- Individual Counselling: One-on-one sessions via sign posting to external services.
- Support Groups: Group therapy or peer support groups where survivors share their experiences and gain mutual support from others who understand their situation.
