The Sefton Domestic Abuse Service addresses the specific needs of children who have witnessed or experienced domestic abuse.

Interventions:
  • Child Counselling: Via signposting to external services. One-to-one support (emotional, safety, and healthy relationships).
  • Child Advocacy: Ensuring that the child’s best interests are represented in legal or social service decisions
  • Parenting Support: Providing advice and support for parents to rebuild a healthy and nurturing family environment after leaving an abusive situation.
